The film follows two of New York’s most notorious crime bosses, Frank Costello (Robert De Niro) and Vito Genovese (De Niro), as they battle for control of the city’s streets. Once best friends, the two are put on a deadly collision course due to petty jealousies and a series of betrayals that will change the Mafia (and America) forever.
